You buy/trade/sell cards which consist of players, gameplay cards, coaches, staff, stadiums and more! Cards start at 500coins for bronze, 2500coins for silver and 5000 coins for gold. You will find Messi, Ronaldo, Henry, Eto'o and all the top rated players in the Gold Card Packs aswell as all the top coaches, managers!

im no get. even if i did get fifa 09 i dont play sports games alot cause they get boring. but thats a good idea, i must commend ea.

they need for nba live 09 then id have a beast team with kobe, nowitski, dwight howard, AI(allen ivo) and chris paul.

any way something like that certainly gets me considering buying fifa 09

UT gives heaps of replay value to fifa 09 (Your playing for Coins so its important to win/keep a clean sheet.

Very glitchy at the moment though. And slow. And Online lags. And it is extremely frustrating.

But still, I recon it's worth it. EA said they would be releasing a patch for it. We'll see

Yeah the lag is kinda ridiculous. Also I play on a small SD tv so it's a bit hard to read the cards. Trying to get my head around the contract renewal thing, can't believe there's so many teams with 5 stars already.

I agree with the five star teams, I went on it about 2-3 hours after they released it online, I still think its all those loosers who just do it to get the achievements faster.

Don't get me wrong I love achievements but at the same time I love fifa 09 so I wont be buying the packs for microsoft points, I'll just enjoy the game.

Once I get good players, I'll trade with you guys. Because of the continuous lag and stuff, I'm not doing too well a against people(3 losses, 2 wins and 2 draws, which was ridiculous as I scored in the last play of the game to draw 2-2 against some guy)

Anyway, yeah I'm planning to make my team now.....obviously will have some Everton players, but looking for a few major targets as well from around. No I'm not getting freaking Ronaldo.

Can't believe you paid MSP for packs though, that's the rip off part of it I think. I'd rather play the game normally, get the coins then build up.

Canberra UTD still hasn't won a game, my main gripes are:

- You need to constantly buy bronze packs of cards just to get contract cards to keep players

- You cannot tell the fatigue level of players pre game

It seems good but it also seems like a blatant cash grab due to the having packs of cards for sale for MS points, thats so lame.

in saying that i almost paid real money for a gold pack as it takes so god damn long to build up enough points to buy a silver pack let alone a gold one with all teh damn contract renewals you need.

Meh, TC 001 FC isn't great either. I guess one thing to do is to grind out more club matches first against the com and getting some points.

Then begin deciding on when to get a gold/silver pack. I only have 3 silver players at the moment with one of them being my created captain.

Funny story, I wanted to try a massive player so I edited him to the maximum. Then when I went into game, I realized that I'd actually moved him to 4' 11". Thought "damn, that was stupid". Next thing you know, I score a rebound header with him, giving me the "Kwong" achievement.

Highest so far is 2 stars but I lost players without contract so it's back to 1.5.

I dont think they thought it would be as popular as it actually is and the ammount of people using them just crashed the servers, lol.
EA are currently testing the fix at this exact moment apparently.
