I loved the original Dues Ex on PC. Unfortunately, every time I got to the China Town level it would crash. I never got to play the rest of the game.

OH NO @DrRockso ! Do you have a good enough PC to play Human Revolution? If so I'd suggest getting the Augmented edition from Steam - it comes with a copy of the origina Deus Ex and you can download the HD texture pack mod and then play it after you finish Human Revolution, it being a prequel and all.

That's my plan anyway.

Yeah. On steam you also get the original game and a digital download of the art book, along with a few extra in-game weapons.

Did you try the HD Texture Mod? I haven't yet (waiting until I finish HR) but @m4cr0bat did with great success apparently.

I generally leave graphics alone. It might take some getting used to, but within a few hours, any good game should be able to pull you into the world so that the graphics don't matter. It's like how I installed gigs and gigs of graphics mods for Morrowind, and then later found that I had just as much fun with plain old graphics.
