Its a friggen awesome game, but i paid 100 for it at eb to get the movie and i can take it back and get it cheaper somewhere else so eh

Its not really "survival horror" unless you really dont want to see another enemy in thye next room, which the first re games did

But in dead space i cant wait for the next enemy cos combat is so bloody fun and i know that im probs not gonna die

I agree but a lot of that was because of what was wrong with the lousy control system... I mean, seriously, it was f***ed!

You're right that Dead Space doesn't have all the atmosphere/claustrophobia of the RE games...but what does?!?!?

Anyway, I thought that RE4 (especially the Wiimake) is easily one of the very best games ever made, and I particularly liked it for the fact that it corrected the things I found irritating about the original games, i.e., camera, controls, weapons, etc.

pazza said: well i never found the controls that bad, slow yes but RE was never known for speed it's a slow meticulous style of game well it was anyway .... perhaps cos i didn't know anything better or maybe it's just my memory telling me it wasn't that bad, when in fact they were terrible.

Anyway im not gonna go head to head with you on this one rerun, you obviously know your RE pretty well. Just one question? How old were you when u played the original? cos i was a baby and my mummy had to pick it up for me and it scared the crap outta me.... sort off anyway.
