Screen tearing has never annoyed me in the past. I'm usually very patient with tat. However, if its bad enough then I'll reconsider picking it up just yet. Though, chances are I'll still really dig the game.

I wouldnt say its like zelda, I wouldnd say its like any game. Sure it borrows some gameplay elements from other games but alot of games do these days. Its real fun game and its pretty brutal.

Ok so the screen tearing is noticeable (especially after playing the first "mission") but its hardly enough to impact the game negatively. I guess if you're a videophile you'll find it irritating but for anyone else it won't distract you from the awesome gameplay in the slightest. From what I've played, the screen tearing isn't as bad as that of Mass Effect so that should count for something.

Its hard to explain without going into technical dribble. Basically, its when the image you see on the screen gets cut and goes out of sync with the rest of the picture.

This image will explain it better than words I think:

When you play some games with screen tearing, you will witness something similar to the above pic. It will look like a line running down/up your screen. Some people get really irritated by it...others not so much. Personally, its no biggy. Although, it is present in Darksiders.

Oh so that's screen tearing, what's it's called when there is a big blob of black on the screen? I've noticed it when playing bioshock, and when it gets really dark I notice it. Kinda like when you watch a movie and you see a big black dot (sorry If I didn't explain properly).

I'm more into the atmosphere of Darksiders comic book feel to be honest.. Plus I have been waiting a while for it.

Aside from screen tearing, I've come across one glitch that actually made it impossible for me to continue the game. Essentially, I was forced to revert to a previous save in which I lost a good half hour's worth of work. Lucky I already knew the puzzle solutions so it didn;t take me nearly as long to get back to my previous state.

I don't want to assume they rushed the game but they didn't exactly do a thorough QC check before release. Screen tearing I can understand but glitches that directly affect gameplay are a cause for concern.

Still, its very fun and damn challenging even on Normal difficulty. Don't know if I'll try Apocalyptic after this...I'm having enough trouble as it is

Pretty much, yeah. Some are pretty straight forward but others you really need to keep your eyes peeled for. Make sure you always read weapon descriptions and hints from The Watcher. They don't say much but you'll eventually put 2 and 2 together.

Also...goddamnit....once you come across the poison demons, please tell me if you can find an easy way to kill them that doesn't involve losing 3/4 of your health. Seriously, these things are overpowered to the max and are a bitch to take down.

lol, thats a cataract.

Either that or your screen has a vague image burnt in and its only noticable in low light (I have that problem

).

So screen tearing and item glitches. Anything else..

Might only rent this one.
