Bioshock 2 cats easter egg O.o

Well I was playing Bioshock 2 and when I was in the gallery of the Fontaine Futuristics I came across a pile of ice, so I got out my trusty incinerate and unfroze the pile. And under that pile there was a frozen cat! And I have the picture subtitles on so when I got near to get a better look there where the words "Schrõdlinger" without the "". And later on in the next level in a small crevice in a wall I found another cat, this time without a name, but when I hit it with my drill there where blood marks all over it, indicating that it is.... or was alive. Odd, and one final time I found another one in the same level laying on a couch. Anyone else encounter this, or have an explimation for it?

so the whole theory is that the cat continues to live in one "version" of the universe while in this version it dies? if tahts the case... thats crazy! i think about that all the time! lol sometimes i'll be sitting there in class thinking... i bet theres like copy of our universe where i took the other option with that decision...
