gdmatt said: So I finally bought BF3 yesterday and have played several hours of multiplayer. Haven't played much SP because the game keeps freezing, so probably not going to touch it at all. The MP is OK with a few mates, but all it is, is a camp fest. Sitting in houses, bushes, trees, aiming down your sight just waiting for an enemy to run past. The Tanks and Jets are cool, but that's pretty much it. All in all a very lackluster and dull experience. I'll play some more tomorrow, but I'm most likely going to return this and not waste my time. Unreal Tournament, now there's a fun, fast paced FPS.

gdmatt said: I loved Bad Company 2. But Battlefield 3 was advertised as an action packed, in your face game, where as a matter of fact, it's the same slow paced game that we were given with Bad Company 2, if not even slower thanks to the addition of prone. LMA0 said: some ppl dont like that fun n fast pace fps they prefer challenging, slow paced FPS thats why they play BF3. It is slower, but whether it's more challenging then faster paced FPS is subjective. UT2004 is perhaps the hardest FPS to master by far, and yes, it's harder than Quake 3 by the simple fact that maps are much bigger, accuracy is needed, whilst also the quick reaction times that made Quake so popular. Personally, I wouldn't say BF3 is "difficult" because all you need to do to be successful in the game is lay prone with a silenced weapon the whole game. Camp in UT2004 and you die.
