Hey guys, since the Beta is now here I thought it would be a good time to post up this thread. What are your thoughts on the Beta? Do you think the current Beta makes the game look good, or bad? Discuss. :)

They screwed the server browser up. When you filter for Oceania it displayed German servers and crap.

Think the beta shows this game has promise.......but i still think they should have released a later version with some of the bug fixes in place , getting fed up of falling into holes & having to comit hari kari , think I'll give up playing until I get my pre-order.

I know its only Beta, is the point not to show off the games potential in graphics and game play.

The thing that lets me down is the glitches, I've been experiencing map glitch where the land is above you and you cant move properly. On several occasions I've had to suicide and try again.

I just think that EA would be creating something to compete with the quality of Activisions Black Opps etc.

I loved playing BF2142 on PC and don't understand why they have not produced a new version for console or PC. So many people still resorting to the original.

Actually the point of a beta is to exterminate bugs, and so you shouldn't be surprised if you run into a glitch or two. They should hopefully be gone in the full release.
