Would you buy a 360 Blu-Ray add-on?

Just curious to see everyone's response. I probably would if I didn't own a PS3, but if you don't, will you consider a Blu-Ray add-on for the 360?

Mine isn't that noisy and i just bought a new console and it's not quite as noisy as my launch one, anyway when you have surround sound on who hears it.

My volume gets CRANKED when i play or watch movies i can't hear anything except dolby digital audio.

Not everyone is blessed lol nah but I have surround sound but when you're watching a not so loud movie, it hurts

I would most definatly get a blueray add-on. It's such a pitty HD-DVD was heaps cooler. Just stacks more movies on blueray

how on earth did blu-ray win anyway i mean it costs more and you don't need 60 gig on a disc cause you have to pay more and i hate paying more

Studio support, more movies available. It practically cost the same to consumers as HD-DVD did.

Think how much we would have saved if we didn't have the stupid format war to begin with, we would have around 2 years of solid new format, it'd be down to maybe 30 bucks a DVD now...

The players would be around 4-500 as well...

HD discs are around $10 now. Should've done that to start with lol. I just ordered a heap. Got the player may as well use it

Hmm I was thinking about trading my original console in for an Elite with HDMI but then thought well, I may as well get a PS3 so I can watch Blu-Ray but then I hear about this. Is it going to be another bulky add-on like the HD DVD drive or do you reckon they'll re-release the Elite with a Blu-Ray drive as standard? That would be sweet.

Otherwise, I'll get a PS3.

there is not going to be an add on at all, xbox will have no blu ray
