I don't think this controller will be the norm anyways. It's more like a "prototype" controller until the phase the design into the older controllers.

I agree with ya there. It'd be annoying for games that rely on coloured icons onscreen representing the ABXY buttons.

Apart from that, the new controller looks shwoit!

I thought the colours were very unique to the controller. And also, games use the colours, so that will be tough. I guess this controller is really only for the hardcore 360 gamers.

That's also a 'prototype' that Joystiq was given although it seems pretty ready to me. My bet is that's the new controller.
