For anybody here who is a bit strapped for cash and looking to get a cheap deal on an 360, I was in Big W yesterday and noticed they are clearing out their old stock of the 'Core' consoles with the wired control, no hdd and standard AV cables for just $100, yes thats right $100. They arent the best packs, and they have the old console, but still, for $100, not a bad deal!

This is a great deal for anyone looking at getting a 360.

Buy this and a HDD and you're off to the races for next to nix!

i went into mine today and they said the arcade pack was cheap on the tag, see what the tag says, then take that to them and tell them you want that, they advertise wrong they have to supply it, tje little hanging paper says arcade pack not core

Big W is similar to kmart that each individual store decides when to clear stuff out and how much to sell it for, so just because 1 store has it for that price doesn't mean another will.
I bought my gamecube in Kmart Devonport for $60 when they were clearing them out, but it took the Launceston store another 8 months to start clearing theres out and the best deal they could do was $100.

So even if your local Big W doesn't have 360's on clearance for $100 it doesn't mean the OP is lying you need to know the actual store they saw it at and give that store a call, then ask your local store if they will pricematch. Sometimes the store manager is happy just to clear out old stock and will accept the sale. Its happened to me heaps of times, you don't know if you don't ask, the worst they can say is no

he is exactly right i bought 2 ps3's @ kmart warrnambool b4 christmas for $580 each. They were the only store selling them that cheap as they had heaps of unsold ps3's.

Sorry crew, the place I saw the deal was in Karrinyup in Perth. Believe me or not but it was on the price tag when I was there, right next to their $498 pro consoles, which im guessing is also a clearance of old stock because they werent the pinata/forza packs and didnt have HDMI.

Edit- Also to clear some confusion, as I said in my original post, its NOT the arcade bundle, it is the discontinued CORE bundle, which is probably the reason it was knocked down so much, so they could make room for the arcades.
