I picked up my slim 360 on my lunch break from work....

I transfered all my saves and games via USB from my other 250GB Elite which is the COD Limited Edition console, lucky I had an ordinary Elite with the 120GB to trade in. I still have 2x 360's including the new slim..... The slim 360 will be in my cinema room and the COD 360 Elite will go in the living room :).....

There was no real reason for me to get the slim other than personal reasons such as the Kinect ready and to match it all up with the my glossy black Wii and PS3 slim lol.... and the main reason, well I just had to get it, you know how it is....

For a smaller console i think it is actually just slightly heavier than the original console for some reason.

When I picked up the 360 slim at Game i also put $20 down on the Kinect for its release at the end of september early october.... Not sure how the kinect will go since my cinema room will always be dark lol. Might have to dim the lights up abit just for a bit of light, we will see.........

I got some great news at work where i am going to be getting a 10grand one off payment so i am now 100% getting the new xbox and then being joe goodguy and give my old 360 to my friends kids. Everyones a winner!!

You can get the new slim for $199 if you trade your 120G elite in. But I just got one... :(

May aswell buy a new slim and sell the elite for around $300.

hahaha ok.. lol I just liked the image really..
there's nothing wrong with the new xbox, just does seem like not really much point to buy it and trade money away to be 'kinect ready' - if you already have an xbox and needed wifi then you probably already bought the wifi connector and a USB extension thingy if you needed that too...

how much is the adaptor for Kinect going to be for the non-slim models?
