PS3 uses BluRay Discs, they have a hard coating to make them "Scratch Resistant". Basically they're just harder to scratch.

Thats cool :D so when it says 240 cores is that what they call "Stream Processors" in our GPU's?

If its 40nm that would make a lot of sense, I was wondering how the hell they could make the thing smaller and run cooler, but if they've gone from a 90nm process to a 40nm and shoved them all on one chip, that would answer that question :P its a bit like the 1156 architecture the i5 runs on except even more crap on the CPU.

Wait, There's A 120GB Xbox 360 Slim? [Rumor]

At E3 earlier this week, Microsoft unveiled a new 250GB Xbox 360. According to a report on Giant Bomb, there's also a secret 120GB version available.
Popping down to a local Best Buy to pick up one of the new consoles, Tested.com's Will Smith was charged $279 for his 360, not the $299 it should have been. Investigating, Smith says that his console was cheaper because of its 120GB hard drive, with the $250GB model going for $20 more.
This is the first anyone's heard of a new/different model than the $299 revealed at E3. Strange that Microsoft would a) go to the trouble of releasing a console that was only $20 cheaper, and b) not bother to tell anyone about it.

well they said that they are discontinuing the current 360s until the retail shops are empty to all the 'slim' to be the current, and that they are planing to replace the arcade versions with a slim (not the 250GB)
