Hey guys, thought i should make a discussion on Rare video games.. i have a few that i used to have and no longer have anymore.. only to find out they were Pretty Rare..

i had Chocobo Racing for PS1..
if you look on Ebay you'll be quite shocked.
ranging from $60 - $180
its an old forgotten PS1 Classic Final Fantasy Racing game.. a pure gem in my opinion..
i picked it up for $25 back when i was 7.
i no longer have it ):
it was one of the best games ive played to this day..

i also had Dark Cloud for PS2..
i didnt get to play it much.. i bought it from a video shop for $5 and seriously didnt play it at all.. its one of the rarest ps2 games i know of apparently and its heaps expensive online.

and i had WWE Day of Reckoning 1 & 2 for Gamecube..
if you've looked on ebay you'll notice theres no copies of these games from australia ANYWHERE. the 2nd Day of Reckoning was in my opinion the best wrestling game..
i'm looking to find both Day of Reckoning 1 & 2 and buy them again.. except i dont know where to find them? :/ maybe even Chocobo Racing too? help?

what games have you guys had that were really rare?

I remember chocobo racing, never played it though. Dunno if this should be in B/S/T, but I'll add mine.

Meganan X3 for PS1. Australian PAL, bought it at Toys R Us soooooooooo many years ago when I was like 9 (12 years ago) with my saved up pocket money for $30. Traded it for $7.50 store credit months later for some game I can't even remember!

I can't even find it on eBay to garner what price I could've sold it for if I still had it today, so I assume it's crazy rare!

Also picked up the Australian version of Clock Tower on PS1 at a local second hand games store down the road a few years ago for $5. Sold on eBay for $45 a year later.

I have Tales of Symphonia and Ikaruga on Gamecube. ToS goes for $100-$150 (and rightfully so, its my favourite game of all time and the best game on Gamecube). Ikaruga fetches about $80-$100. Both excellent games.

Yeah I thought the first game was more difficult to find, my mate had both games and then tossed them out last year... sad story.

I had the original cart with the Islam Chant... still haunts me.

I don't know about kingdom hearts but I do know non-Platnium games usually end up the rare ones.
I despise the silver case on ps3 platinum games. It is hideous. To the point I will not buy one, I will instead search for a non platinum title and price match.
So hopefully your non platinum kh is rare.
Sorry for the rant. :P
