What/where should I purchase things to attain "the ultimate shave"? I'm also interested in all this lather business, i don't get it.

Yeah I'm like that. Once it gets over 5mm it starts slowing but jesus do I grow that fast XD If I don't shave one day I have a good 3-4mm the next and it looks hell bummy :(

So I had a go with that Fauldings Shave Cream this morning. The lather it gives is only adequate, but the lubrication is great (I used the shavette this time) and the scent is awesome, and very long-lasting.

no......no it isnt :P

but you shouldnt have a hot shower. just a bit over warm is good otherwise your skin can dry out.
your body wash needs to be good too otherwise that itself can dry it out

btw desi why did you want that mortar to retain heat? i thought you were cold shaving from now on [Shifty]

Okay, people, can you recommend me some good after shaves please? What do you all use? I usually just apply moisturizer right after I finish shaving(or after I get out of the shower, after I shave). Does that help?

I cold shave when using a shavette, but it makes no appreciable difference when I'm using a safety razor. Much less irritation involved with a safety razor.

You should shave after you shower......but whatever you use cartridges not like itll even make a difference :P

No actually it will. shave after you shower
and then buy an aftershave balm nawt a splash

nivea for men aftershave balm is what i use
but proraso aftershave balm is kewl too

I use Redwin facial moisturiser, then splash on some Cussons Imperial Leather aftershave!
