Hey Hamzie, I wonder if you have tried the Faulding shave cream that is available pretty much everywhere, in Woolies and Coles and stuff? It comes in a toothpaste tube, and is very stiff. I bought it a while ago and didn't really use it after discovering soaps, but I found it in the cupboard and gave it a quick lather on my hand. I had a hard time getting a layer as thick as usual, but I really like the scent; it has a strong overtone of eucalyptus, quickly giving way to a soapy, neutral base note that lasts for quite a while.

For like $3 for a tube, I'd like to have your opinion of it.

havent used it man but i have seen it. when i worked at the pharmacy i saw no one would ever buy it.

honestly in the 2 years i worked there.. i dont think i ever saw that being bought. but then again these are the people who buy canned goo.

I read one of the comments saying it smells like an old ladys drawer and that put me off. but if you reaaaaaly want me to undergo torture.. ill get it from kmart

Nope, I just knew that they have reviews for blades and soaps and stuff, so I looked it up. And yes, go buy thee some! I'll give it a proper try the next time I shave (should be Sunday).

We are talking about face shaving. I know chicks and stuff use moisturiser when shaving their legs and things, but using it when shaving your face strikes me as a bad idea.

Nope
that is my aftershave

So after im done shaving.. wash my face properly

but i dont towel dry my face.. i just remove as much water as i can with my hands.. so face is still moist with water

i apply nivea for men on top of that.

and sometimes on top of that.. i rub in a very tiny amount of vaseline.. i dont know if thats good practice but it sure leaves my face feeling extra baby smooth

Proraso aftershave balm is good.

Hum. Because I have been using Redwin Sorbolene facial moisturiser, and after application I apply a quick splash of Imperial Leather aftershave. I don't like going out with no aftershave. =_=
