So from the approval of Luke, I decided to make a [Official Cricket Thread] where you can talk about CRICKET!, from Domestic Cricket to International Cricket. Great maiden ton from Matty Wade, can't believe I read an article with Clarke saying he wants Haddin back to be the #1 keeper is he off his head?

Yeah the Clarke comments were crazy considering Wade is in the team now, at least he showed them what he can do.

I think going back to Haddin would be a step back so surely they're not going to.

I think it's the worst thing Clarke has done as skipper belittling Wade like that, I understand he wants his mate back in the side who went through a few personal issues not sure what they were.

It's not the NSW boys club anymore & for the benefit of CA going forward going back to Haddin would be a massive step backwards like going back to Doherty or Hauritz instead of Lyon.

I still think our top 3 batsmen are the biggest weakness for the short term I think Watson & Wade should open not convinced Cowan is a better option than the guy he replaced, Warner at least offers another spin option.

Warner is proving to be a golden arm. The ball he bowled to get rid of Bravo was a beauty!

Watson should probably open with Warner for now, not sure who to bring in to 3 (or Ponting and a new no.6), but Cowan hasn't convinced me.

Good signs from Hughes there were talks the Redbacks were making big plays for Hughes, Maddinson & Smith but I guess that was all talk.

Mixed bag for Klinger who I thought was a chance for an Ashes berth based on his form of the last 2-3 years but won't with those performances.

Cheers for those stats ISR weren't we supposed to play an ODI series soon?

I'm not saying it wasn't a good ball but he goes out the same way all the time, literally.
If he ever gets back in the Aussie side first ball he faces he will have at least 4 slips in behind him and the bowler will bowl outside off stump over and over until he nicks and is caught.

So pretty much explosive but hit & miss like Warner? Meh inconsistent or not good to see him make some runs.

There's something about those NSW lads their batting techniques have glaring flaws to go along with the big obvious talent, it's weird a bloke like Justin Langer can't help iron out those minor issues.

I'm a little worried about CA our main improvement was off the back of Craig McDermott getting a fresh bowling attack working as a unit.

He's recently quit that role & Mitchell Johnsons gold pass will be given back now he's fit [Facepalm]
