AFL.com.au reports it is Tom Liberatore.

@JAkermanis
The dogs sacked me because Hudson and Murphy said the wouldn't play in the same team. Wonder if Murphy will have another hissy fit over this

Getting quite critical of the Dogs with his retweets.
These guys have so many advantages in life just for playing footy, how hard is it to not take drugs. Complete idiot.

I'm sure it would be harder in their position than it would be in my or your position. They are in society's upper tier, it is almost expected of them to do drugs and stupid shit. I'm sure every footballer has suffered peer-pressure from fellow footballers and those they associate with in that world.

I'm not saying what he did wasn't dumb, because it was really dumb and yes he should have the strength to say no. But I don't think we can completely judge until we live in that world.

depends what substance it was... if it was cannibis who gives a shit? its like its a criminal act or something and? one day it will be legal anyway.

Not allowed to drink or smoke have any fun. Reasons to not be a sports person sounds like a shit life tbh.

If its a more heavy drug then i am all for calling him an idiot.

How do footballers communicate with their friends? talk about how they knitted a sweater?

Guess if i was a footballer i'd just do what i do now. Play games more full time or else i would only get in trouble leaving the house lol.

I would leave my job in a heartbeat to be an AFL footballer, it is a blessed life, being paid to do something you love while keeping fit and healthy.

Having to give up alcohol and drugs is no massive thing, if you want to be a great player you wouldnt be doing it anyway. Absolutely no excuses.
I hate when people pass drug taking/alcoholism as "just a choice" in the same degree as "should I have toast or cereal this morning?"

As I understand it, based on your social standing, there are various degrees of pressures that are difficult to avoid. I don't fully understand it, because I'm fortunate not to be in that circumstance, but I can at least, but I can at least sympathise with these people.

There are a lot of benefits (buying a house outright from less than a year's salary if you're a star, for example), BUT it comes with being in the public spotlight.

If I get arrested for being drunk and high, it's unlikely to make the news and I can probably go to work on Monday morning as if nothing ever happened.

That said, when you enter the AFL draft, you're signing up for that. Being an AFL player means you agree to being under heavy public scrutiny and being a role model of sorts. I hope 17 year olds understand that.

Exactly, these guys no when they get drafted that their mistakes will be magnified so if they can't possibly help themselves and have to give into peer pressure and take drugs than don't nominate for the draft, give the spot to someone who will treat the opportunity with respect.

no you dont idiot and so is Dane Swan banned for 2 weeks for drinking on Sunday night
Might put a punt on the Swans this week even though they're missing a gun in Jude Bolton as well, might be a good close finals intensity game.

yes very true
Rumours that Dahlhaus was in a moon boot on Saturday night. Out for the season. Jason Akermanis also seems to think he was out with Liberatore.
Very good for the Swans, bad for DT.

Lol Panadol and medication = drugs. So basically unless you were born in the stone ages then you are a loser as well.
