The Umps paid a lot of soft frees tonight, to both teams. The only reason WCE got more is cause your rucks were 'scared' of Nic Nat and Cox.

So I'm guessing the WCE v Hawks game was absolute crap tonight? Didn't watch as I was out, observing the behinds being scored with a flurry on an app. Crazy.

Hawks can't win close games. I picked it at half time that we'd lose.

When was the last time we won by less than 10 points? -_-

Yes, Hale should be a fulltime ruck (In my opinion) I wanna see it happen. And Sewell and hodge the onballers, getting the footy out of the centre. Would be perfect, 2 player's tough to beat

McCauley did just fine. Play them in position and they might just be more effective. Bit hard to play any extra talls than required when it's wet... would be wonderful to have two rucks like Cox/Nat that can play multiple positions and are versatile on the ground.

So Hawks last 9 games decided by less than 10 points, they have lost 6 games and won against GC by 9 points in a nothing game, WC by 7 in Tassie, Collingwood by 3. Not the worst record, but man it feels like we just cannot get over the line in the big ones.

Nah it was a great game. Most of the behinds were scored in the first half when it was really wet. After that all the players confidence was low so they were missing anyway. Apart from the forwards though, the teams were playing highly skilled footy and each teams structures were perfect.

It was a great slogfest.

I was going to jump on and ask why the hell you guys were all gambling on Whitecross, who generally isn't a ball player. But seems I was wrong with Longer and others soooo.. I kept my mouth shut :P

In other news... Ablett only got 33 touches.

And I think we (the footy public) should start speaking of the rounds as 7 match rounds, because GC and GWS don't even look like winning a game, even when they look like competing.

Whilst Whitecross over Sidebottom was a poor trade i'd expect him to bounce back in a game Hawthorn can play on their terms, he will still get a good price rise eventually so i'm not worried about that trade knowing Fyfe might still go under the knife.

The big winner trade was going with my gut reaction to drop Martin for Stanton but I regret not putting the captaincy on him this week knowing Raines would blanket Ablett, Brent pumped out a superb 169 points making up for a few of my poorer performers.

Who's going to win out of Melbourne vs Bulldogs or will it be a draw? :P

My multi is stuffed for the week, Brisbane won by more than 40. Fyfe to Robinson worked out alright, and Treloar was a good (albeit necessary) trade to avoid a donut.

Even if he does have a point crying over an exploit in the games rules isn't going to achieve anything they will still pay high contact in those instances.

Is Clarko really that far behind the times? The Selwoods have been masters (Joel the best at it) of ducking & ramming their heads into opponents for free kicks since 2007.

Hams is a serial offender because he's a midget lol :P

I read Fyfe is either out for 3 weeks or having another op.

Glad I got Sidebottom in aswell, not sure what people saw in Whitecross.
