The Ablett v Thomas matchup was interesting.
Ablett has 53 disposals to Thomas' 32, but Thomas kicked 3 goals and set up many more. Ablett turned the ball over more than I've ever seen, but the headlines will be all about the 53, despite only about 30 being effective.

Such a waste of talent being at the Suns. Geelong sure could use him right now.

Great: Buddy (204), Ablett (186), Mitchell (119), Goddard (111)
Not so great: Lake (49), Hargrave (42), Pendles (59), Horse (38), JMac (58), Sidebottom (Captain: 68x2), Martin (73), Giles (65)

Haven't mentioned everyone... but you get the idea. 2,062 for the round. :'(

Not to mention Scotland is now out for 3 weeks, whom I brought in this week for Marty Clarke. [Facepalm] Or Coniglio who tonned up after being traded out also.

Carlton have lost 3 of their last 4, the one game they did win was against Melbourne. Their next four games... Geelong, West Coast, Hawthorn and Collingwood. If they don't win any of these I think they will struggle to make finals, unless all of their injuries return and they win all of their last 8 (includes Sydney, Essendon, Richmond, St Kilda).

Luke Parker out for 8 weeks with a broken collarbone.

Been tough in our SC league for me so far, I've got the second most points but sit 11th on the ladder. I'm undefeated in DT though :)

Also is anyone else still alive in the Eliminator in DT? I'm through to round 6.

Would be a good downgrade rookie too, I'm thinking of trading Mitchell in for McDonald in DT working out how to get him in SC.

I should've traded Hargrave before last week went down $30k & I lost 4/10 leagues this week because of my captain error [Shifty]

Edit - Jordan Lewis out for two matches & Boak out for a month getting foot surgery virtually like for like loss there.

If Schulz is fit to play might make it an interesting game.

I don't think this one was quite as obvious, there was a slight hint that he copped a tinkle of fairy dust on his noggin.

Pretty disappointed with Lewis. Remember seeing it and thinking it would get him suspended, commentators said nil which usually equates to the MRP not even looking at something, but they got him. And fair enough, stupid thing to do at any time, let alone when 80 points up.

Just watching Footy Classified and they showed the Mcglynn incident which was inconclusive from the vision and the medical report along with Mcglynn saying there was nothing in it. Veszpremi though seems to have dobbed Mcglynn in and now hes suspended.

Others may not agree but its poor form from Veszpremi breaking an un-written law in dobbing a fellow player in.

It pisses me off when the Vic media start off their show with a rant about a poor performance from a Melbourne club without giving due credit to the team that smashed the crap out of them.

I don't even think they mentioned Port once in that long Carlton rant, I guess the Blues must've played themselves in that match.

If Hamish Hartlett played for a Vic club he'd be hailed a future star for the pantsing he gave Chris Dud.. I mean Judd :P
