Pandemic

eGames will be hitting Melbourne once again this year, from the 30th of October - 1st of November. eGames is the biggest gaming events to be held within Australia and includes many hot multi-platform titles and also exclusive titles.

General Games that will be shown at eGames at the moment will be titles like,
- Borderlands
- NBA: 2K10
- Splintercell: Conviction
- Assassins Creed 2
- Split/Second
- Spectrobe Origins
- Toy Story Mania!
- Halo 3: ODST
- Forza Motorsport

These are the confirmed titles that will be shown at eGames with more to come.

What a terrible show this year. I went on Friday, spoke to some publishers, only to discover there was no internet there. Hardly a way to impress anyone with the media (although I was there more as a fan than someone to "work").

Hardly anything new (Assassin's Creed 2 and Avatar were the only new titles on show that were worthy of attention), no Nintendo and no Sony.

I went on Friday and on Sunday for a bit. Waste of my time. Organisation was clearly out of whack from before the event started, and my media pass had "JB Hi-Fi" on it. WTF?

Hopefully they improve it next year with some bigger games.

The event was total ****. I guess thats what you get when you dont host it at the Melbourne Convention Centre. Everything was just plain bad. I played AC2 but it was a crappy test version that seemed to be in 720p and the graphics looked crap and identical to AC1. The cutscenes were horrible and had plenty of texture pop ins.
But Avatar in 3D was pretty awesome, even though the game wasnt that good.
