The LWIFOTI Thread

24209 Views 679 Posts Social
In a possibly futile attempt to keep the number of erroneus threads down, I think its a good idea to have a thread for those interesting "Look what I found on the Internet" moments.

This is not another silly thread for jokes (but feel free to let rip) but more an attempt by me to repair some of the damage I have done to this site with my non-sensical ramblings of which I think I am on the brink of repeating as I type this.

The links can be related to anything, even games/console info if you so wish.

I'll kick it off with this, looks like a blu-ray player for xbox360 is in development, by lite-on as well, (good company)

www.digitimes.com/

And here's a release schedule for both xbox 360 and ps3 for a comparative look at the showdown between the consoles.

www.gamepro.com/

anyone else find anything interesting?

note: I know theres a news section but sometimes you see things which aren't game related or do not warrant their own news item

Sorry if this thread steps on any of the gigantic toes that seem to laying about this site.

Damn you and your time travelling, un-circumcising delorean Loupek!!

5 minutes later

The end?

not likely.

lmao, tom do me a favour, never leave my360. EVER.
Provided the new job doesn't block it I'll be around a while yet.

;-)

but we should totally havea thread for stupid self-made comics like my poor example above, it's a fun way to waste time and poke funz.

sounds good, we'll call it wacky comics wednesday, get some ready and we can kick it off and make it a weekly thing, like friday funnies. Just gotta keep them relatively clean obviously, same standards as the friday funnies
I'll make my specialty re-doing movies as modern my360 forum adaptations.

It could work.

Such awesome parents.

"You can only play Call of Duty if you abide by the geneva convetion"

classic.
I think that its a great idea, kinda makes it more realistic for the kid. Out of interest do/did games like Americas Army require players to follow the Geneva Conventions or risk being penalised?

PFf, Americas Army!?

I think that game goes like this:

Attack own country: blame other country.

Invade other country.

Secure oil fields.

Repeat.

I guess it's good in the sense that they can keep making sequels and it'll still be realistic.

Maybe somone should makeman FPS that revolves around alternative fuels.

COD: Battle for the Hydrogen fuel cell..

Or maybe not.

Not really they are spending ten years getting raped in the showers behind bars.

You should look up the crime that they based the film "The Bank Job" on, or better yet the british gas employee who was ALLOWED to keep the 18 million pounds he stole on the condition he showed the investigators and british gas how he did it - the worlds first ever computer crime
Yours and my opinion of jail-butt-secks differs greatly it would seem.

Also, have you been working out?

I'll have to check out the first computer crime one; sounds le-interesting!

It was brilliant, it was done when british gas changed over to computer based billing he was basically funneling all the half pennies off of peoples bills into his own bank account - they couldn't actually prove he was doing anything wrong, but they were suss when they found he had an account with over 18 million pounds in it - so they knew he was doing something illegal, but they could never figure out what it was, or how he was doing it, that's why they let him keep the money and stay out of jail - he was stealing so little - half pences - no body noticed, but so often that he built up 18 million very fast which tipped off the authorities that he was up to no good.

That's what I consider a criminal genius
The guys who inspired 'the bank job' are ****ing geniuses. Not a bad movie either

Or even thee millennium art heists, they still haven't found those guys, or even the paintings
They never will. How much do you rekon they would go 4 on the black market.

Nothing - the paintings are too famous because of how hot they now are, it would be like trying to sell the mona lisa, I think they were employed to do the job by a seriously wealthy collector
