Okay, seriuz fred tiem.

I don't watch TV at all and I've only heard people talking about swine flu or whatever... I assumed it was just hyped up garbage, and it would be forgotten within a week... but I just got an official university email telling us to pretty much ghetto off anyone who's been in the general vicinity of a Mexican... (I kid, slight over exaggeration...) but really they're recalling all students and staff that are in Mexico, and not letting ANY international students on campus for seven days after they return... does that not seem a little extreme to you guys? I thought stuff like this and SARS (from a few years ago) was just media bull****...

Are they just being fear mongering superwhores, and blowing it way out of proportion? 'Cause it seems really really harsh, there are two Mexicans living on my floor... the university is like "ooh, run away, they've got cooties!"

Seriously, wtf?

Yeah, they gave us that freaking geography assignment to do in the last freaking holdiay. So I just said, "**** that, I'll do it in the first couple of weeks of school!"

Well I'm sick at the moment so that gives me plenty of time to do my assignment.

BTW, I believe they are calling the Swine Flu the "N1H1 Type 1 Influenza Virus" now

A mouthful I know!

The Swine Flu is rated stage 5 from the government, the maximum threat rating is stage 6, does that ring any bells?

Also why wait until something is the maximum dangerous to actually worry(why wait till it reaches stage 6) If there was a Tsunami coming to Australia, would you wait until its here to worry?

ummmmmmmmmm black plague? influenza? spanish flu? TheXtreme?

I would. I wouldn't want to worry on the days that it's coming, what a way to ruin the final days of your life. I'd save the worrying for when I see the tsunami about to crash on top of me.
