JUST 2 LEFT! $6 each including postage!

I just thought I would see if anyone would like one of these card tools that I have laying around. $6 including postage nationally.

Paypal or direct deposit for payment (bank deposit preferred, $0.50 extra for paypal). Send me a PM if your interested, or reply if you have any questions or comments.

I keep one in my wallet at all times, and I gave about 8 to my friends and family as cheap Christmas presents. They are great for opening bottles.

It doesn't have to be, it can be a bank transfer if you want, but I thought people felt safer with paypal.

And it isn't hard to use, you just need to adjust your grip so you don't put pressure on the saw. I have no problems with it.

But to be honest with you I'm looking for a place where I can make these myself, but only with the bottle opener. I'm actually thinking about making some money off these on ebay. If I could get my own manufacturer I would etch the url for my site so that though word of mouth I could get more customers.

Right now it's just an idea.
pm me a rough price and wood u like a eb voucher.

You do know that you are going to have to order them in major quantity (and I mean order way over 1000 pieces for it to be financially worth wile for you) for it to even be worth the effort of getting them manufactured with your own brand/url on them, I would suggest looking at corporate gift suppliers to hook you up with them branded/marked to your own speks, as they will only require you to order as little as 10 pieces - As they are a fairly common corporate gift - I have several of them with different companies logos on them that I have been give over the last few months

I mean I have been talking to a friend of mine that works in a shop with the capability to make these, and I have experience with metal work. I would do the work myself.

Doubt it.

That part.

I'm not talking about industrial or commercial.

If it's the same as the ones I have kicking around, they look Lazer cut, and besides its too small a piece of metal to cut so exactly with hand tools to any degree of quality
Put all the cm marks etc on them?

Even if you could make them, it'd take like 30 mins of your time at least to make one. Then think of your hour wage, no thanks. Not going to happen.

Who said anything about hand tools?

30 minutes?? Even if you had a good jig set up, I think you'll be looking at about an hour to an hour and a half per piece

You missed the bold part above

Doug did say this however.....

"that works in a shop with the capability to make these, and I have experience with metal work. I would do the work myself."

So it means he may have a lot of the tools. But still....

What bold part, I see nothing in bold??

Look at my last post and look for at least.
Just to be totally clear, I'm not talking about creating a business, just a hobby and some games money.

I really doubt it's worth it though. Up to you.

When I wanted some money for games earlier on I went to garage sales and resold on eBay, it was quite good at the time but you get sick of it. Go to markets and find deals.

Or maybe make something else with your metal works. You aren't going to get ny money from such IMO.

MugaHay said:So it means he may have a lot of the tools. But still....

I don't think it would be possible to do this with and tools, the pierce is too small to begin with, besides the holes/tools cut into the metal are too small and require fairly exact cuts and size - which even an experienced metal worker would find next to impossible to do by hand.

It was most likely done on C&C or lazer cut, I'm leaning towards lazer cut, as many could be cut at once from a single sheet of 304 SS
I don't mean "tools" exactly, but his friend has a shop. I am not sure what is in this shop. By shop I tend to think of a factory type thing, not like where you just buy an angle-grinder. It depends on the tools/machinery available.

Either way, there's probably a dude in China that has all the machinery available that is getting $1 an hour. Not worth it IMO either way.

I ordered some of the standard tool cards today, and it really isn't that expensive. I don't want to say how much but I am, and I will make a profit on the 20 I bought.
Ok import/export is your better option.

Not making them though.

I just did a quick search online, and have found them for as low as $0.30 per piece if you order 100 pieces, that's including engraving of company name on them, or $0.50 if you want a logo printed on them

It was always my plan, I was just looking into making my own as a possibility later.

I have another idea on an ideal cash cow that is even easier to make. It only requires a lathe and some 1/4in aluminium stock.
