Have you ever made your own fun within a game? Something that wasn't necessarily the main objective.

All this GTA talk has reminded my that I spent ages in San Andreas trying to land the 737 in ridiculous locations with limited success.

Then get one of the little planes in my garage. That was an ordeal, since its wings were just too big for most garages, and when I finally found a slightly bigger one, it was a nightmare to land it in a compact area without crashing.

Not necessarily what the game was for, but I had fun.

I suspect there'll be a lot like this in GTA.

Gta was great for making up your own adventures. Swimming out to new islands and such, stealing boats and indeed sky diving!

I guess one of the main games for me that really does revolve around making your own fun is The Sims. Concentrate on your job, making friends or generally just being a menace to society.

Finding the tallest building, grabbing someone hostage, climbing the building, then throwing the person off. Watching them fall on the way down.

GTA:SA put the cheats aggressive traffic and some other cheat on. Grabbed a cop car and helped in chases :P

i think peds have weapons made it funner along with riot mode.

Ahh man...souch SA fun. Type of game you'd always find something to do in...

E~ also the 100ft bike jump cheat and jumping your bicycle from building to building *_* then spawning random vehicles and driving off the edge

Back when I was playing DoD on a daily basis, I used to hit all the maps with some friends and we'd find all the hacked out hiding spots, and spend hours trying to reach supposedly unreachable ledges and locations. Was a lot of fun, until randoms would join our server and kill us, then it was WAR [Rage]

Loved playing the track betting in GTA: SA, where everyone picked a horse and barracked it on. Great fun. :)

Got pretty close for first attempt, then clipped a tree.

I don't have a save file anymore since I played it on PS2, but rebought it on Xbox and PC :(

I think we're all guilty of seeing how long we can go on a mass killing spree in one of the GTA games. It's just brilliant when you find that perfect spot and idiots just keep funneling their way and you just keep mowing them down. =D
