Big Ant Studios is proud to announce that they are to develop Australian Rules Football for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Following up on the recent announcement that Big Ant Studios are expanding into Queensland, comes the exciting news that they are to produce a fully licensed AFL video game.

So Blue Ant are taking over from IR Gurus (thankgod for that). Lets see what BA can do.

So what do we know about it:

Release Date: Early 2010
Platforms: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC
Mutiplayer: 4 player offline, 2 player online
Pre-Production: July 2008
No Publisher named at this point in time.

They have already started on it.

AFL is boring as all hell and the game will no doubt be just as bad as all the rest.

Rumour from a dude on my PSN friends list and from another forum I go on. He's cousin is working on the game.

They're making it for PS3 and porting it to the crapbox 360.

players with faces, no without. More importantly players that resemble their real life counterparts.

We need muddy, rainy weather that affects style of play.

We need a crapload of hard tackle animations

The blood rule and stretcher

A variety of marks to take and goals to kick

And a goal umpire.

NAB cup and drafting players wouldnt go astray either.
