Is the special edition worth getting? I don't have to decide yet as the release date has been changed to May & the cut off date for preordering is April 2nd.

Is it going to be a good game? Haven't seen anything about it tbh.

DLC on the left, Map pack, key chain and soundtrack to the right- and of course the figurine in the middle..

Looks quite detailed as well.

Yeah I was trying to hold off on impulse buys this year after last year buying games that i'm still yet to play, after all i'm getting Mass Effect 3 CE, Twisted Metal & MGS HD collection CE & they all release around the same time.

Rockstar don't normally make crap games so it's not so much a question of am I going to buy the special edition as it is wondering if the games worth buying, or take my chances that the CE will one day end up in the bargain bin.

Yeah that might not be such a bad idea.

I'd probably wait and see how they sell. I know Max Payne is popular but it's probably not going to sell as much as the likes of a GTA.

There's also preorder bonuses if you go through EB or GAME.

EB get the cemetery multiplayer map & the first DLC pack for free & GAME get the silent killer multiplayer load out pack.

Yeah you can it's for anyone who preorders the game at EB or GAME :)

But the DLC included in the special edition will be timed-exclusive & will more than likely eventually end up on the PSN store/XBL marketplace.

The link I posted above says what each regions retailers are doing the bonuses but for some reason it isn't working for me now.

Here's a different one www.ps3trophies.com/... unfortunately it seems if you get it from UK you only get one of the Cemetery map or the first DLC pack depending on whether you order from GAME, Tesco & Play.

For some reason us Aussies are lucky to get both from EB.

Yep I also said that in another post above lol, most DLC eventually releases on the consoles respective stores.

I was just informing what bonuses people get for preordering, I wouldn't know the price differences as they weren't on the link & I cbf googling them =_=
