This is looking to be the best DragonBall Z game and representation of the Anime yet, they've really gone the extra mile with this, create your own character mode and a story to go along with that.

Along with one of the most brilliant DragonBall Z story modes ever that captures most of the great scenes from the Anime and replicates them with in-game graphics, and Anime style cutscenes that look like Z, but with modern animation.

It also apparently has 30 minutes worth of those Anime cutscenes, which funnly enough is double what Z Kai had of new animation that looked like it was done in paint. :P

Unfortunately their release date is this Friday instead of Thursday. Oh well, happy to wait a little longer and save the extra money.

Weird. Retailers seem to be selling it early and breaking the streetdate, according to my friend the JB in the city here is allowed to sell the special edition today.

Guess this has something to do with them getting the US release dates and Europes mixed up, so they put us in the middle, now retailers are confused lol.

Just one, what are your thoughts on the gameplay? Everyones feelings have been kind of mixed, but no one I've heard make a commen on the gameplay has actually played it. So it'd be nice to hear what someone who has played it thinks of it.

I love the gameplay. It's very back and forth because of the 50/50 QTE (which is good, keeps the fight intense) and the controls are perfect. I also love the addition of flight battles (people chasing you in flight while battling.. Awesome). I haven't even started hero mode yet, enjoying the story mode ATM but I highly recommend this game it's got me hooked. I bought batman along with it, and after 10 mins of batman I came back to this lol

I am srsly loving this game. I'm mained trunks cause he's my favorite character, but honestly it doesn't really matter who u pick I think they all do roughly the same damage... I don't think transforming into super saiyan increases damage output, it just gives u 2 different super attacks (usually better).

Either way, fun game and good fighting mechanics, I think they did really well with the QTE in battle, making it a very edge-of-your-seat intense fight, giving ur opponent chances to counter attack

I only have played this game for a few hours so far. I like new fight combo system that’s good fun and cool challenge. I started playing Hero Mode at the moment. Customise character could be better due not enough limit of faces, body parts and styles etc.

You need to unlock faces hair costumes etc in hero mode to use them

enjoying this game so much... finished story mode, started hero mode which starts slow but is extremely awesome once u unlock super attacks and costumes and u get to fully customise him. he starts out heaps weak but build him up stronger and stronger. lovin this game.
