Ubisoft has revealed their new Assassins Creed title, Assassins Creed Revelations via their Facebook page. For a brief moment last night the official Assassin's Creed Facebook page displayed a link to a mysterious teaser site, along with the message, "The day you have been waiting for has arrived!!!

So, will this be another spinoff like Brotherhood or will this be the 3rd instalment to the series?

Well it feels it's going to be another spin-off. Seen the teaser which showed arabic words which maybe be about the Altair, I can't decode the message but its to early to say. If it going be a sequel it will be called Assassin's Creed 3 but most spin-off titles have a secondary title nxt to main for example Assassin s Creed: Brotherhood.

I've been very careful ever since someone ruined Heavy Rain for me...

Also, they couldn't use ezio any longer unless they keep him in the same time period. I don't think they would go that path. I mean, ezio is getting old, you can't assisinate forever right? :P

Well I think if the story keeps going with ezio it will be boring, there's not much more they can add that will really change the experience. If they go back to altair using the gameplay of brotherhood, will that be much different? They need something new that still sticks with it's roots.

I should really play Assassin's Creed 2.

I disliked the first one; it was just too damn slow and boring for my liking.

However @Beta assures me that the second one is MUCH better and I can't have an opinion on the series until I give it a decent run through.

I'll consider it.

Yea I had the same issue, No1 sucked I dont think I even finished it :P. But NO2 they listened to the people and made a very good game change and the game hasn't looked back.

I'll agree with @Beta it's such a great improvement. I thought Assassin's Creed 1 was awesome, It has nothing on AC2 (Also if you sign up for Upay - Ubisoft's reward program thing) you can get points and buy Altair's outfit for AC2 [monkey]

You should give it a try, Heller.

The word revelation means revealing or disclosing so maybe this game will tell alot more or the final chapter in Enzio's story that will reveal about the present.
