They've discussed a number of settings where the templars weren't really involved.

They've discussed a number of settings where the templars weren't really involved.

The Templars disbanded and formed a exclusive secret club called the Freemasons around the 17th century.
They still exist today from different countries and alot of members are politicians and company CEOs, just near my place in western Sydney there's a Freemason building because there's a Freemason symbol on the building.
