[OTN] Major Police Raid In Newcastle.

Newcastle police have uncovered a massive stash consisting of around 10,000 rounds of ammunition, 7KG of gunpowder, firearm parts, ammunition manufacturing equipment and fireworks.

The raid was carried out yesterday morning in suburban Mayfield West around 9:00 am consisting of detectives, police sniffer dogs and various other police units.

A 42 year old male was taken into custody today, Where the magistrate described the quantity of ammunition as deeeply troubling.

Such a shock since all of this was about 60-70 metres down the road from my house. I've been in this house for about 4 years now and i never would've guessed something like this was going on inside, Sure the house looks a bit iffy and wasn't well maintained. Just goes to show you, ANYTHING can be happening in any house in any street.
