Story of my life

After reading Mandy's interesting blog about her life and how gaming tied into it we thought it would be awesome hear more stories like that. So that's what this hot little achievement is all about, you life and gaming.

How to get one

Crack open a word processing program and write up an interesting blog about when you first got into gaming, then tell us about all the gaming systems you bought or had access to all these years, tie in some highlights, some interesting moments both good and bad, then work your way up to the present day.
Many of us have a couple of decades or more to talk about so don't be stingey with the word count, I'm sure you all have a lot to say. There's no set word count for this achievement but you may not get one if you half arse it. By that I mean any blogs that are just 3 lines of dribble will be either ignored or removed.
We understand that some people may not shine with perfection when it comes to writing and we do not expect professional work, just do your best to try and get your story across. If you need help with writing feel free to ask our resident editors, Ben, Heller and Tano. They will be more than happy to give you some pointers.

When you have completed your work and uploaded to the Blogs section come back here and link us to your work so we all can check it out.

Duration

As of now there's no set time limit so there's no need to stay up all night trying to get it done in a hurry. Take your time and get it done to the best of your abilities.

The most important things to focus on is to get your story told and to have some fun with it. Also don't forget to read each others story and give them some support.

This achievement is a manual issue so once we've read your work we will then issue it to you. Also those that have written their story prior to this thread going up will still get the achievement, they were the inspiration for this whole thing :)
