Hi Guys,

New MyWii - what can we add / improve?

I think it was great to involve all of you in deciding the comment order, so I am opening this up and let you guys help us to create a new site with all of your suggestions included. So please comment below on what we can add, and what we can fix!

um... not sure if i am late or not but a direct link to MySSBB and if that part of teh site could be further improved that would be great.

It could be a link like the ones in the row up there under the MyWii logo or with the other links for the MySites in the top right.

Searchbar should be on the homepage in the same spot as other pages.
Messages should be on the menubar instead of the top-right corner

Search bar is specific to the page you are on, so if you are on the games page it'll search games, if you are on the forum page it'll search to forum etc.

I thought the messages location would be changed, since it's an issue that was discussed on MyFrag. Horrible placing, hard to notice. Search bar should search all pages, like the last one.

I think a great thing to add for the site is a list of game previews or discussion on games to be released in Australia. I know there is Wii Games Out this month thread but maybe there should be a Game Previews section so we can see all the games out this year etc.

We have game release dates www.mywii.com.au/ , the game section is going through a massive update at the moment, so it should be relatively up to date shortly.

I have a suggestion. I think the MyMedia websites are great and now it has taken over my life. All of the MyMedia websites, great as they are, should be integrated together into one central place. For example you sign into the MyMedia website, then you get a hub where you can go into the other MyMedia websites (like MyFrag, MyWii, MyDS, etc.). That way you can get more exposure for each site and it simplifies things.

Also integrating the kudos, mates, and not needing to make seperate profiles for each site.

The central MyMedia hub should have all the latest news, reviews, and members can choose to customise their page so they can subscribe to Wii updates, DS updates, etc.

I know it sounds like a lot of work but it will definitely be worthwhile.

Perhaps you could do some member polls that show how many members frequently use several MyMedia sites.
