From DC to Marvel and Web Comics to The funnies you find in the morning paper, comics can be found in lots of places. I read comics everyday, and have been for many years. This thread is for anyone and everyone who wants to talk about comics.

You read a lot of VG Cats and you want to talk about it? Do so here. You like to buy printed comic Books? Discuss what you're reading! There re so many different comics out there, surely there's much to discuss.

This thread is meant for proper discussions. Saying things like "DC suck, Marvel is better!" will absolutely not be tolerated. If you can't be civil and respect what other people are saying, then don't post here. Let's all play nice.

The new ultimate spiderman is good it's not often a new character can replace a favourite snd not have the quality of the book drop. Sarah pichellis art is beautiful as well

Bendis and Maleev's Spider Woman limited series was made into a motion comic. Nice way to see if you like his art. I think there were six episodes from memory, one for each issue I assume.

It's set after Secret Invasion, so if you haven't read that you may not understand everything going on in this.

Oh man, Secret Invasion is pretty crucial for a lot of characters. I liked it, but Civil War was better. Fear Itself was pretty "meh".

I use to collect and read comics a while ago, but since I got married and had kids, haven't bought comics in ages. Would love to get back into them when my kids get older and we can do it together.

I literally have thousands of comics ranging from DC, Image and Marvel. Spawn, Superman, Batman, Preacher (which is my all time favourite). I have originals dating back 20 years.

I'm so glad someone has started a thread on comics. Maybe it will inspire to go back to a comic book shop.

Anyone else reading Alpha and Omega? I finally got around to reading issue #4, it came out like 2 weeks ago. I found myself not really enjoy the first couple of issues, but issue #3 and #4 have been good. Quite is an interesting character to say the least, and I'm enjoying his character progression.

I'm so damn excited for DC's Night of the Owls.
Snyder and Cappulo's Batman is one of the best Batman titles I've read.
And crossing over with my second favourite title Nightwing YEEES.
The Court of the Owls are the coolest villains as well, can't wait to see them explored in all of the other titles in the issue 9s.

Anyone else reading Batman?

That's the fcbd comic. I get them early every year.

Just read Punisher #10, which is part two of the Omega Effect. I really enjoyed and and I'm super excited for Dardevil #11 next week.

I've never really been into comics, but I've started reading the "Watchmen" comics and "The Umbrella Chronicles", and I'm enjoying them quite a lot.

I seriously doubt it, but is anybody looking forward to Gerard Way's new series "Killjoys"? I haven't heard anything about it for ages.

Edward from fullmetal alchemist.

He lost an arm and a leg trying to revive his mum. So he has a robotic arm and leg as replacement. As you may know, magneto can control metal. But Edward knows alchemy so the battle between them would be interesting.

You should watch fullmetal alchemist if you haven't rennie. It's one of my all time favourite anime. ^_^

These are the very comics which the popular "Blade Kitten" game for Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 was based on...

They are also freely distributed, and the site is update 1-2 a week.
