What are you going to do to help you stay up for Microsoft tonight, power on and watch Sony and stay up again tomorrow for Nintendo (or select parts of that)?

I have lots of caffeinated beverages, cheap (too cheap) donuts and M&Ms.

Any techniques like blasting yourself in the eye with a torch - probably not effective - that help you stay awake and functioning the next day at work/school?

What are your plans to stay up for E3?

Worst E3 in quite a while me thinks, apart from Nintendo... again.

The new controller looks (not cosmetically [sick]) awesome, some of the possibilities with that thing! Plus Nintendo in HD finally! Innovation right there not like Sony or Microsoft [Facepalm]

There's nothing innovative about arriving noticeably late to the HD party. Microsoft's improved Kinect support and Sony's new 3D display are much more impressive if you ask me. Mind you, I haven't had a chance to watch Nintendo's conference yet, so my tune is subject to change.

WiiU's graphics are imo significantly better than ps3 and xbox, based on a early tech demo of the graphics they showed us. The innovation is more in the possibilities the controller brings. I'm loving it, and the games they showed us and offered us again is impressive.

I wouldn't describe the Wii U's controller as being innovative. The iPad has a game where you can play it using iPhones for controllers. The Dreamcast had a similar idea. The PS3 wanted to let you use PSP's and I still don't know what the deal was with the Wii and the DS. So unless they've changed the meaning of the word innovative, it's not innovative, it's just an interesting concept.

I bet that there's a version of the controller without the screen so that there is a less expensive version of the controller. Some dev's won't develop with it in mind as a result. First party titles should be interesting to see though.

I'm watching the Skyward Sword footage now. Can't wait for this game. Don't really know what to think about Wii U. It's not what I expected but I'm liking it, I just hope they focus more on delivering games rather than boring casual stuff.

Everyone seems to have the idea that it's just the controller.

On a different note, Skyward Sword looks really... meh
I'm sure it will be great, and all, however living in a cloud-city, where the ground is populated by monsters? Is Ganon even in this one? And that golden-haired girl doesn't look like Zelda at all...

this is setting the foundation for ocarina of time, for all we know she's an ancestor of zelda, but if she's not royalty or anything of that sort yet she's definitely going to be different. She does look like Zelda to me though, cel-shaded adult zelda, unlike the cel-shaded toon zelda lol.

If ganons in it, it'd **** with the timeline immensely, seeing as ocarina of time is the origin of ganon atm.

Honestly, I'm not that interested in Wii U. The controller looks cool, yeah, but incredibly uncomfortable and I just can't see it being used well for some reason. Maybe because they didn't show me enough of it? I don't know.

I still have my heart set on buying a WiiU, looked way to good to me personally. Hopefully Rashy is spot on with that non touch controller being available just so I can snatch a few controller up early.
