Does anyone actually like summer?

Everyday I watch on TV I see people continuly say that they love summer and hate the winter but if you really compare it summer is the worst season there is.

in winter if your cold you can wear a jacket outside and be warm, in summer you can wear whatever you want outside you won't feel cooler.
in winter mozzies won't attack you at all, in summer its a constant problem.
in winter the electric bill is smaller since if your cold you can wear a jumpter unlike in summer where again you have to put your ac at max in order to fight the heat which fails.
bugs run rampant in summer and not in winter.
skin cancer is a bigger problem in summer since alot of people are sun bathing.
in summer you get dehydrated more often
in summer the chance of you getting sun birn and heat stroke increase
in summer you are more prone to sickness
summer brings out the idoits among people

summer sucks, i can't see why people love it so much.

you say that now but having ducted air con is the best, had it in sydney, one thing i do miss about my house in sydney.

but yeh having split systems are good too for one room.

I've only got air con in my lounge room which isn't strong enough to cool the whole house so what we do is put the sun blinds down out the front and only have the blinds slightly open to let some light in. Also keeping doors closed and not letting the hot air in really helps too, this is such a good way to keep the house cool free of charge.

Anyone else have any tips like that?

thats what we do, and our house is like a cave so it stays extremely cool for 2 days sometimes 3, but if its really hot weather like over 30 for 3 days straight then the house heats up too. we open up windows and doors at night to let the night air in when it cools down but thats about all we can do here.

When I went to Melbourne in 2010 and found out they had alcohol so I got Santigo(s)
It's like a Corona/Sol but cheaper, there like $35 for the carton.
But I also drink Sol, Corona, Boags, most of the Tooheys.
I don't mind a Hahn either.
