I went to the original sale on the 2nd at my local store and walked away with only ODST for $5. My brother was literally a second away from grabbing the last Xbox 360 Slim when some Japanese guy knocked everyone over and swiped it in front of his eyes. He got a lot of evil eyes and a few cusses from those he bumped into to get it. Lucky bastard.

I didn't bother with the extended sale today, though I heard some people got good games such as RDR and LA Noire for good prices. I'm glad not everyone was shafted by the ill-organised clearance.

I got Mario Kart 7, Splinter Cell 3D, Ratchet and Clank All for One, Brutal Legend, Fifa 10, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 and one of those EA Active 2 pack thingies. Then when i got home i ordered the Driver collectors edition from dicksmith online.

That sucks a bit. We have 2 stores here in Ballarat. The one i went to first had all the games not included in the cheap sale marked at 30% off while the other store just had them all at full price.

I heard the stores a little further out from the city CBDs faired a little better in terms of stock quantity and customers actually being able to buy "on-sale" things. Glad somebody came away with a worthy haul!

And yeah the stores were really inconsistent in terms of which ones actually honoured the supposed sale today and on the 2nd. Bad organisation and management.

From what people are saying, it seems they have a fair bit of stock out back, they seem to be handling the customer rush by only bringing out x-amount at a time.

Not sure how long that could last for though.

I'll be heading by a DS today to see what they have left.
