My situation is black and white. That dumb bitch was just too dumb to realise the difference between a standard change of mind return and statutory obligations. I'd understand if I was trying to get a refund - they have no money. But when it's a matter of swapping one game for another, there is no reason they can't do it, especially when federal law says they must.

I agree with you but unfortuantley when a business goes into administration all bets are off, federal and state laws are suspended untill a court hearing reofends which starts with an audit which thereafter a cascading list of businesses and stake holders with outstanding amount of monies owed are payed out by percentage which would be long list i can imagine.

I'll miss my local GAME since the employees there were always really nice, especially when compared to the local EB or Game Traders.

Customer service was terrible when buying games from just about anywhere else. That set them apart and guaranteed my patronage.

Maybe it's locational, the EB near me always has really nice employees and the GAME people wouldn't even say anything.

lol As a staff member, I wouldnt give a shit. Put yourself in their shoes; they're losing their job, do you really want to spend your last week ringing pissed off customers who will do nothing but complain to you?

Besides, everyone knew GAME was in trouble -- if you're stupid enough to leave it till the very last minute to cancel any preorders or use up any reward points then thats on you.

they didnt say game wouldnt have diablo it was only selected stores. i still got mine. and my brother works at game and his store still got them too.

It's a sad day when we lose another games retailer. If it's only JB Hi-Fi and EB Games we'll be the ones who get screwed. JB is becoming a new EB, as in gouging prices and selling discounted games to price everyone else out of the market.

If I had even one iota of patience (I dont) I'd only buy games online.
