There ain't any general MK threads so here's one to discuss whatever MK related things you want.... though that's probably unlikely to happen much, thanks to the decline in the series.

Anyway, I just felt like saying that I picked up a Midway classics disc for PS2 with MKII and 3, and my god, they are still so awesome to this day. I thought they would have aged a lot, but they're a million times better than the newer MKs.

The only benefit of living in NZ at the moment is being able to go to a shop and buy Mortal Kombat. It's cool but also kind of sad.

CptAwesome and I were playing some games. This game is great! Being how I've been playing the UMK3 on XBLA for some time, I tried to play it again and it feels foreign to me since playing MK9.

I want the classic Reptile Costume :(

And hate it when people do Xray, such a cheap move. Also, Fatalities are a time waster, just hit the character and move on -_-

lol ya the xrays are pretty cheap, does so much damage. and your right about the fatalities being time wasters... i should stop doing them wen we fight [Shifty]

Yeah, I don't use Xray's anymore. I try to do it old school and just learn some combos. Your Lui Kang is such a pain the the bum! lol your Sub-Zero is also great!

Yeah, I'm studying Cyrax and Reptile at the moment, Reptile is so difficult to pull off right. Cyrax on the other hand is really fun to play with.

we need to get an xbox king of the hill mode going, and a ps3 one for the ps3 users.

ive already got 49 out of 50 achievements including online ones... the only one i havent gotten is this ridiculous one where you have to master all the characters, which INCLUDES playing with all 27 characters for 24 hours each... IN GAME TIME!!! f**k that
