Top 10 Xbox 360 Games For Q4 2012

Nielsen Wire surveyed 4800 male and female gamers aged between 7 and 64 to determine the most wanted Xbox 360 games to close out 2012. Which games rounded out the top 10?

Most Wanted

Halo 4 November 6

99% Want It

What MMGN.com Thinks:

The multiplayer gameplay was reminiscent of classic Halo; which is a nice way of saying that it hasn’t changed in the past five years. Having the option to customise your loadout, however, will make a monumental difference given time, as each character will genuinely be diverse in both approach and ability. Aside from that, Halo fans will feel at home in the hands of their new developer.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 November 13

99% Want It

What MMGN.com Thinks:

With sandbox levels, branching storylines and the additions of drones (and other 2025 tech), Black Ops 2 looks to revitalize the Call of Duty experience, at least in terms of single-player. The open missions are breaking ground for Treyarch, who is looking to lose COD’s “playing it safe” moniker.

Assassin's Creed 3 October 31

98% Want It

What MMGN.com Thinks:

From accidentally shooting an innocent civilian in the face to standing perched between two tree branches and being on a boat: Assassin’s Creed III is a fascinating world to explore during the American Revolution.

Resident Evil 6 Out Now

96% Want It

What MMGN.com Thinks:

Resident Evil 6's issues are indicative of a company trying perhaps a little too much to get back on its feet. For what it’s worth, Resident Evil 6 is a solid, high production value action game with enjoyable, engaging combat, great set pieces and an intricately told B-grade horror plot. However, it’s a mercilessly disjointed experience, hurt by incoherent pacing, an overbearing number of quicktime events and trivial button prompts that slow the experience considerably.

On The Radar

NBA 2K13 Out Now

87% Want It

What MMGN.com Thinks:

The gameplay has changed a little but the experience is just as enjoyable. Multiple great game modes, including an enhanced My Career mode and added NBA Legends teams, make this a worthy sports sim. With so much expectation around change for annual game releases, the 2K Sports team has certainly made an effort to implement successful changes, mixing up the experience while still remaining honest to a popular and acclaimed gameplay offering.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted November 1

82% Want It

To be Most Wanted, you'll need to outrun the cops, outdrive your friends, and outsmart your rivals. With a relentless police force gunning to take you down, you'll need to make split second decisions. Use the open world to your advantage to find hiding spots, hit jumps and earn new vehicles to keep you one step ahead.

Medal Of Honor: Warfighter October 25

77% Want It

What MMGN.com Thinks:

While Medal Of Honor didn’t quite set the world on fire in 2010, it at least offered something different from Battlefield 3, which was released a year later. They are two truly different multiplayer offerings, developed by two different teams with two different goals. A series like Call Of Duty doesn’t have this freedom, and while Treyarch and Infinity Ward have different ways of changing that experience up every second year, the core experience is still very much the same each year.

Just For The Fans?

WWE '13 November 29

75% Want It

WWE ’13 is certain to ignite our enthusiastic, worldwide fan base and encourage them to live a revolution that simply cannot be ignored. WWE Live will bring the impassioned WWE live event experience into the living rooms of consumers, while critical core gameplay improvements and a serious dose of attitude will enable them to experience WWE action like never before.

Hitman: Absolution November 20

74% Want It

What MMGN.com Thinks:

It really is a game of multiple simple touches. As you sneak up on one person or another, you’ll overhear conversations which (thankfully) are very well written and have voice actors who are able to offer a sentence which doesn’t make you cringe. The world really feels alive, which is vital for any game where you’re spending so much time slowly sneaking around and observing things.

What The...?

Fable: The Journey Out Now

72% Want It

What MMGN.com Thinks:

Fable: The Journey is not for everyone, and certainly not for most people who enjoyed the original Fable trilogy for its RPG-esque action gameplay and exploration of character morality, choice and consequence. But if you enjoyed the narrative and history aspects of Albion, you love Hobbes and a good Sunday night fantasy story, then maybe The Journey isn't that bad a choice.

I'm curious as to why NBA 2K13, RE6 made the list, but not FIFA, Dishonored, 007 Legends, Far Cry 3...
Yeah I can't see farcry or borderlands 2
In regards to the age group surveyed, WTH are 7yo kids selecting MA rated titles for their top10?
